CORTISOL CONTROL
Stress + Fatigue Support • Healthy Weight Management • Enhanced Mood
CORTISOL CONTROL is a one-capsule-per-day formula designed to help regulate stress hormones and support your mood, metabolism, and recovery. Featuring clinically studied Emodin and AstraGin®, this formula supports HPA axis balance, combats stress-related fatigue, and helps manage cortisol-driven weight fluctuations all without affecting energy levels.
Key Benefits:
-
Supports healthy cortisol levels and adrenal balance
-
Promotes mood, motivation, and mental clarity
-
Aids in stress-related weight management and energy regulation
-
One delayed-release capsule per day for effortless daily use
Emodin (≥80%) – 300mg
A high-potency anthraquinone compound derived from Siberian Rhubarb (Rheum rhaponticum), standardized to a minimum of 80% Emodin.
- Supports healthy cortisol balance by modulating HPA-axis activity and stress hormone output
- Helps reduce stress-induced inflammation and supports adrenal homeostasis
- Enhances mood, energy, and emotional resilience during physical or psychological stress
- May assist in rebalancing circadian cortisol rhythm and improving sleep/wake cycles
- Supports glucose and metabolic regulation by lowering stress-related dysregulation
Synergy: Absorption and delivery are enhanced by AstraGin®, while the delayed-release capsule helps protect against gastric irritation and allows targeted delivery to the small intestine. This also helps mitigate some of the gastric distress which can be common with Emodin supplementation.

AstraGin® - 50 mg
A patented bioavailability enhancer derived from purified and fractionated extracts of Panax notoginseng and Astragalus membranaceus.
- Increases absorption of herbal actives, peptides, and amino acids via SGLT1 and PEPT1 transporter upregulation
- Enhances gut barrier function and reduces intestinal inflammation
- May improve bioavailability and efficacy of Emodin and other co-formulated compounds
- Supports immune health and metabolic resilience via improved nutrient uptake
- Promotes stable energy and mood by optimizing gut-mediated delivery
Synergy: Boosts Emodin absorption efficiency and time-in-system; complements the delayed-release mechanism for more consistent delivery and reduced GI side effects.

Synergy Overview
Cortisol Regulation & HPA-Axis Support: Emodin helps regulate cortisol production and blunt overactivation of the HPA axis under stress, while AstraGin® enhances the absorption and delivery of Emodin for more reliable and sustained support.
Stress Recovery & Metabolic Balance: By improving cortisol rhythm and reducing inflammation, Emodin supports mood, insulin sensitivity, and energy balance; AstraGin® aids this process by increasing uptake and bioavailability through intestinal transport pathways.
Digestive Tolerance & Targeted Delivery: Delayed-release capsules help prevent gastric distress commonly associated with high-dose Emodin while supporting targeted absorption in the small intestine, optimizing both efficacy and comfort.
FAQ
Q: What changed between the old and new formula?
A: The only change was the utilization of delayed-release (DR) capsules.
- Provides slow and steady release through the gut and into the bloodstream
- Helps mitigate some of the GI distress effects that are common with Emodin supplementation
Q: Is it normal for me to use the restroom more frequently while using this product? Why does this happen?
A: Emodin is a natural compound classified as an anthraquinone, found in plants like rhubarb, cascara, senna, and Japanese knotweed. It has a well-documented laxative effect, which is the main reason for your increased restroom use.
This is a normal effect, and in some users it goes away within a week after use. In other users it stays consistent during the supplementation period.
- Stimulates peristalsis: Emodin irritates the intestinal lining, stimulating muscle contractions (peristalsis) that push stool through the colon more quickly.
- Inhibits water reabsorption: It reduces reabsorption of water and electrolytes in the intestines, leading to softer, more frequent stools.
- Modulates gut motility and microbiota: Some data suggests emodin may alter gut microbiome dynamics and smooth muscle activity.
What to watch out for:
- Excessive or prolonged diarrhea or cramping
- Dependence: using it for regularity and not the intended cortisol lowering effects
Tips:
- Start with 1 capsule daily to assess tolerance.
- Consume alongside your biggest meal of the day to prolong absorption even further.
- Only increase dose if absolutely needed, and not long-term.
- Stay hydrated and consume adequate electrolytes.
